Hype Machine's annual Hype Hotel event series at South by Southwest was the physical embodiment of its music discovery mission: a week of day and night showcases curated in collaboration with music blogs.

In the months ahead of the festival, I assisted our Head of Music in booking talent, coordinating press and artist logistics, and handling advance production materials and hospitality for 50+ acts each year. Once on site in Austin, as the day-of-show contact for each artist, I worked with our stage team to ensure smooth performances across the week. In our final year (2016), I stood in as the Department Head of Talent. Past lineups include Charli XCX & Sophie, Dua Lipa, Spoon, Solange, Anderson .Paak, Mitski, and many others.
